How Notus works
At Notus, we believe business leaders are best placed to build strategies for their companies rather than consultants. That's why we created a guided system that walks you through the process step by step, helping you draft a strategy that reflects your business. Once complete, it lives on the Notus Dashboard where it can be managed, edited, and shared.
Guides
Notus guides provide a structured framework for building strategy across the core disciplines of your business. Each guide is broken down into modules and lessons that take you through the strategic decisions relevant to that topic, ensuring your strategy is thorough, considered, and tailored for your business. For the time being we offer a guide for creating a marketing and communications strategy, with guides on operations, digital, and crisis management, amongst others, coming soon.

Modules
Within each guide, modules break the strategy into distinct chapters that reflect how real strategic work unfolds. Each module tackles a key component of the wider strategy so the process of learning about and drafting your strategy is made manageable. Modules are intentionally structured in sequence, helping you move from learning the theory into increasingly practical decision-making without losing clarity or momentum.
Lessons
Each module is divided into five lessons, with every lesson addressing a specific question or accomplishing a necessary task. Lessons combine clear explanations, practical examples, and guided action steps that require you to apply the principles taught directly to your own business. This means learning is always connected to output: each lesson results in a tangible part of your strategy being developed, refined or clarified. Complete five lessons and you haven’t just learned the theory — you have built a meaningful section of your strategy.
Template
As you progress through the lessons, you’ll simultaneously fill in the Notus Strategy Template. Each lesson relates to a specific step of the strategy process and gives instructions on how to relate it to your business. Once drafted, your strategy should be integrated into your business’s day-to-day operations. With the template you can manage all elements of your strategy, including editing, sharing with colleagues, running campaigns or managing operations.
